I am missing the seal that goes on the windshield frame, sealing the connection between the convertible top and the windshield. What is the proper name of that part, and is this it? https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-ZKC3099

That's it ! Note that it's held in place with left and right retainers. P/N's YKC3342 & YKC3341. You've got those?

Michael,

I'm not positive on this, but I think that part replaces the seal on the header rail of the top frame and not the one on the windshield frame.

True, that part (ZKC 3099) actually is secured to the header rail, but it is the only seal between the top and windshield. There is a rubberized trim piece clipped to the windshield frame P/N ZKC 1432. It is not a weather seal though.

If you’re talking about the things the top latches into, then yes, I have those. I’m pretty sure there’s a seal on the windshield frame, as I don’t think the top is supposed to have one.

This picture is from Rimmer's catalogue. Of the three long items at the bottom of the illustration YKC3610 and ZKC1432 are the only pieces that are on the windshield frame. WKC3937 is a piece of vinyl cloth that is actually cut and glued to the soft top's header. There is no seal on the windshield frame. ZKC1432 is a rubbberized 'U' shaped flexible strip that merely finishes off windshield frame so it looks good from inside the car. It may be what you are missing, but it's not a seal. https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-YKC3610

This picture shows the only weather seal for the top ZKC3099 and it is secured to the top header, not the windshield frame. https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-GRID006143

I found a picture of the piece before the car went for paint. What is the rubber part under the top latches?
