Need help identifying a missing part on my EFI TR7; there appears to be a small metal box installed near the intake manifold that is missing on my 7. Goes in between the valve cover vent and the charcoal canister piping. Currently I have a vent hose running directly from the valve cove directly to the canister pipe. I’ve never been able to find it on a parts lists and have never seen one listed on Ebay. Anyone know what it is, what it does and perhaps have one they can sell?
Thanks

Hello,

It's an oil separator, oil fumes are condensated in this canister.
Part number TKC5823, and very difficult to obtain, possibly only on a breaker yard.

Greetings Ton

Ton,

Thank you for taking the time to answer my question, this little issue was really bugging me. These parts are very rare but at least now I know what I am looking for.

Randy.

Rob, I would really appreciate it if you could take the time to chase one down for me! Let me know how much you need for it and shipping to Fresno, CA?

Randy and Rob,

If you'll ever find another one, mine is also missing, thats why I knew direct what this part was. Here in the Netherlands the chance to find one is zero.

Thanks for your answers,

Toma :-)

Hello Toma,

I was able to locate an oil separator on-line so if Rob manages to locate one in his stash, you are welcome to it. If not, the guy I bought mine from MAY have another in his yard. I asked and he would be willing to ship to you. Here is his contact info,

Happy to help,

I believe this is a mom and pop shop and Ted keeps busy...took him about a week to answer my email but once I placed the order, he shipped the part the next day.

Good luck.
