Dropped my diff today for rebuild. One of the POs repaired/reinforced the right front mount but not the left....which seems to be in great condition...no signs of cracks at close inspection. This would have been done 3 or more decades ago. The car was off the road from 1988 until I bought it, got it road worthy (by my weak standards) and registered it in 2014. Is it normal, or was it back then, to just reinforce the right one?

Thanks,
Steve

Right one does seem to go first. I'm in the process of redoing/strenghtening a 250 frame now.

Hi Steve, it's always the right front. I've been repairing these professionally forever. I've never repaired any other that the right front. Stu
