So I've been bouncing emails with David Townsend about doing a TR250 puzzle using his valencia blue TR250 surrey-top print.....

https://www.sportscarart.com/product/triumph-tr250-limited-edition-fine-art-print/

He already has several puzzles and these look really fun. I don't know about you, but I'd love to have a bunch of his posters, but there just isn't room to display them all... Puzzles, on the other hand, would be super cool....

He says there is a big minimum order of puzzles for manufacturing a new design. I was wondering would anyone else be interested in getting one of these? I'm not sure the exact number he would need, but I was just thinking maybe I could say, "Hey Dave, I have X-number of takers, can you have a batch of TR250 puzzles made?"

Cost would be about $60. I'm in for one. Anyone else?

Thanks for posting Andrew. Here's a preview of the puzzle image. These are 1008 pieces and build out to 18" x 36". If I can gather enough orders for a group buy, I'll slide them in the next time I order.

Hi,
I am in the process of retiring and selling on my puzzle making business in the UK, although we exported to 64 countries including the USA.
We specialised in small volume or even one-off wooden puzzles, laser cut, in a frame of wooden presentation box, from customers own pictures or artwork. Although I cant supply any at the moment we will be in a position to do so later this year once the business is with a new owner! We are also in the Guinness book of records with the worlds largest and smallest wooden puzzles. We also did bespoke car interiors for a whole range of marques and kit cars, so hoping to continue that.
As a guide a bespoke wooden puzzle in a frame around A4 size was selling for $40-50.

Maybe I should buy it and move to the UK!

Just for comparison sake, the A4 size that Robert refers roughly translates to 8.25" x 11.75". The puzzles I am offering build out to 18" x 36" or about 2 1/2 times the size of the A4. At some point I would love to offer my puzzles in hardwood version but am sitting tight to see how response is to the current product before moving into the super-premium versions. That said, I've been satisfied with the construction quality and packaging of the present line.
