So I decided I would re-varnish my dash as the old varnish was cracking really badly, when I unplugged everything I marked it all so Im pretty confident the wiring is correct but for some reason the fuel and temperature gauges just keep going up and don't stop, I have removed the dash multiple times and the fuel gauge works perfectly when the dash isnt pushed all the way in, however when I push the dash back in the fuel and temperature reading shoot back up again, does anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

Cheers
Dan

I would guess you have the voltage stabilizer wired incorrectly.

The stabilizer supplys a regulated or simulated 10v to the fuel and temp gauges.
