The Vitesse is done and ready for spring. Regular maintenance, cleaned and polished plus winter work. Stripped out the carpet and put Dynamax in then a new carpet set plus tore the doors apart to replace the window weather strips. The car looks great. Now if it would just stop raining in Vancovuer I would get to drive it. Spring is just around the corner.

Went to the garage. Looked at the Herald and the TR6 languishing in their dry habitat. Weather in he Pacific Northwest has been horrid. Longing for dry days and wind in my thinning hair. Set up a lawn chair and cracked a beer. What a lovely piece of kit Michelotti came up with back in 1959.

The 250 was yesterday today the Vitesse got its run. But first a complete clean of its winter dust (even though it in a dry heated garage and a car cover on it) and make sure it was read. Opened the sun roof and we were off. Everything works including the overdrive, now bring on summer.

I Picked up my 1971 13/60 and drove it over 100 miles. First time driving it, I love it, My Girlfriend loves being a passenger and my boxer loves the driving.

People were actually out in the middle of a busy street taking pictures of us as we drove through town-loved it and hated it smiling smiley
