I have found all (i think) patch panels I need for my Herald 1200 convertible. The last I need may have to be cut out of a parts car. As you can see from the attached photos, I have a problem with rot in the windscreen frame. I have tried to get someone in the U.K who is selling a salvage bulkhead to sell it to me, cut out the needed area, and send it to the US. No joy. Anyone have any thoughts as to how to how I can make this repair.

not the best idea but I have a 64 1200 frt bulkhead in reasonable condition, floor pans needed and a little work around the rocker area - can email pics if interested, will not cut up, too good overall for that

I wish to pursue this. What do we need to do to make it happen.

Thanks'

It's at my farm about 150 miles away but I will be going up soon..... I can cut the bits off then. Let me know exactly what you need. Just what's shown in the pic?

I need pretty much what shows in the photos. That is the windscreen surround. Perhaps a piece that goes half way up the right post and halfway across the bottom. This should give me more than enough material to make a solid repair. Always mindful that rust you see is a small part of,the rust that is.

The nice thing about the Herald pressboard dash is that as long as the pressboard is reasonably stable, you can get sheet vinyl at the fabric store, and recover it! BTDT with my Herald...

I checked out the Herald parts car I have. The bulkhead is in pretty rough shape. About all that is worth salvaging is the windshield frame and it is damaged at the top.
