While I was underneath the 13/60 Herald looking for the cause of a scraping, creaking sound in the rear, most likely u-joints on the half-shafts but no smoking gun, I noticed that the radius arms have a slight bend in them. Is that correct? The picture on Rimmers page seems to show a bend but the arm is NLA and the pictures are not necessarily accurate. Are they different than the Spits which seem to be straight? Your thoughts?

The slight bend is correct; btw, it should point downwards towards the ground. Spitfire radius arms are straight...and significantly shorter.

Thanks Andy. One fewer issue to worry about. Tom
