Oil in Trunnion then?

OK, sounds like oil could be best in the front Trunnion /vertical link but how do l get the oil in, considering lve just bought 2 new grease nipples?, cheers, Pete

Easiest quick solution might be to purchase a dedicated (and cheap) grease gun, fill it with oil, and pump away (noting that it probably will make a bit of a mess, since the typical grease gun is meant to hold grease rather than oil). It won't be a total waste of money, as the trunnions are supposed to be oiled every 6,000 miles (I think? going from memory).

Probably a long time solved, but if you remove the grease nipple fill an oil can, one that has a flexi pipe fitted, with EP90 gear oil you can indeed do the top up job with out a problem put a cloth under the trunion and pump it in until oil runs out of the rubber dust cover,

Grease nipples cost very little. Just replace them with the proper plugs, and use a hand-pump style oiler to fill & top off...
