No relation to any of the NASCAR Elliott'. Totally seperate from any other Elliott racing team.
We are thinking of bringing the Cortina and perhaps our Lotus Super 7 if finished, to Limerock for the Vintage Festival next Sept. Depends on the money situation.

The super 7 is an awesome track day car. Brings back that old roadster feeling, much like the TR6 or TR250. I love Lime Rock it's such a special track much like the Glen. Perhaps I will see you there next season.

Kind regards,
Orlando

My Super 7, probably an early Caterham as now serial numbers- probably lost when the owner in 75 had to replace frame from firewall forward. I have had her for 20 years and started a long term restoration after driving for for 7 or 8 years. She is RH drive with a lotus ford twincam, Cortina transmission with remote shifter and Escort diff.
I have added SCCA race modifications, correctly mounted the engine but don,t like the Lotus transmission mount so will fab a better setup. Probably never race her, but track days would be fun. I know I would probably be able to get in but getting out again would be a impossible without help. I have a genetic condition- Beckers Muscular Dystrophy- which progressively affects my mobility , strength and balance. It slows me down but won't stop me from enjoying my motorsports.
Look forward to possibly meeting up with you next Sept. The dream is not only to run at Limerock Park, but possibly Palmer the next weekend, followed by Watkins Glenn Vintage races and the 4th weekend at Mont Tremblant Fall Festival.
A group of our local racers ran at Mont Tremblant this past Sept- a 63 Tube frame vette, a very fast BMW 318, an 86 M3 and IT VW's and they were the top dogs in every race they entered. Our home track is considered one of the most technical and toughtest tracks in NA. If you can master AMP then you can race anywheres.

You'll love Limerock in the 7, great small bore track. I'm not sure your schedule for the fall festivals will work out. The vintage races at the Glenn are usually the week following the Limerock event (Labor day weekend). Lots of people do both weekends and spend some time in between touring the Finger lakes. Palmer may require a separate trip. Another good vintage event at a small bore track is the VRG festival at NJ Motorsports Club. This race is normally the week following the Watkins Glen festival, just in case you didn't race enough the other two weekends.

Another way to get on track at Limerock is the two day "school" the Friday and Saturday following Memorial day weekend. The event is run by the NY Jaguar club, in association the VSCCA and HRG. VSCCA and HRG hold actual races while the jag club has two schools, experienced and novice running between the races. Lots of track time, in car instructors (supplied) required in the novice, optional for experienced. It's a great way to learn the track and get experience with your car in a controlled, limited passing (on the 3 straights only) environment.

The sign up form (for the school) will be post on the schedule page of the HRG when it becomes available Schedule Here

I was at LimeRock this past Junefor the SCCA weekend. Used my truck (04 F-350 SD dually crewcab) plus my 28' Freedom trailer to take a friends Spec Miata down for a weekend of racing. Beautiful track and country side. Accomodations very expensive so we are going to put a pair of fold down bunks, a small microwave and bar (12volt) fridge. I was surprised LRP did not have any electrical outlets, so good thing I carry a 4000w generator in the trailer. Needed mostly to keep my electic 4 wheel scooter chargerd up. I would consider Palmer if there is was weekend between LRP and Watkins Glenn. Probably never happen but you never know

Lime Rock has a few outlets, near emergency services (Pit out) in A paddock as well as a few along the hill in B paddock (and 2 Tesla charging stations). The Glen has them all over the paved paddocks but they charge extra. On a popular weekends the multi car teams get there early and snap them up (both tracks)

Nova Scotia is quite a haul, I live 30 minutes from Lime Rock and did the Cabot trail last summer with the motorhome. I remember driving by what was advertised as the only race track (paved oval) in NS. Gorgeous country and friendly people, hope we can return the experience in CT.

See you next year.

Also look at TSMP (Thompson, CT) and Palmer Motorsports Park in MA.

There's a relatively new track in Monticello NY. Private I think but it may have open days!
