Hey All,

I'm about to purchase a rebuilt head from TRF. Redoing my own head
would only save me a few bucks, so I figure its not worth the chance that
a machine shop won't grind it out correctly.

TRF offers two types of heads, one with new valves and one with
remanufactured valves. What is everyones opinion on this? Which head
would you go with?

Thanks,

JHD IV

Doing your own heads offers other advantages other than money. You can select
the components used, such as bronze guides, valve seals, and stainless valves.
You are correct about having to find someone who will do it right. If you can
find a good machinist, have it done yourself. You can also have it milled for
a better CR and install better springs. My advice, DIY.

Good Luck...
