I owned, restored and modified my Triumph Herald from March 1981 to November 1998, when I eventually sold it.
I restored my Triumph Vitesse in the UK, between June 1984 and April 1997, then I brought it with me to the USA when I emigrated here in March 2002. I am still modifying it, and may never be done.

1st August 1991: Left Kattua, 7.25am, arrived Naantali, 8.35am. Whilst I was waiting in the queue to board the ferry: M/S Rosella, sailing back to Kapellskar, Sweden. I was approached by a man and a woman, who turned out to be Ari Niemela and Reijo Stenius from nearby Turku, they had also attended the TCF meet at Oulu with a Triumph 2000, but had now decided they want to find out about the TSSC, unfortunately as they approached me, my queue started to load onto the ferry, so I just had time ...

23rd July 1991: 177,976, 71,470, 1,990.30, Petrol Q8 Nykobing - 'Blyfri' 98 Octane: Very fast driving indeed. 29.24 litres, 172.55 DKR, 5.90 DKR/ltr at 25.91 mpg. Some people in very busy petrol station were arguing over a minor accident, probably Danes and Germans - in English! Police arrived in Black and White Volvo - I left! 2nd July 1991: This evening, left work 6pm, and it began to rain more and more heavily, but still managed to grab half-an-hour in-between showers during the period 7.30-8.30pm, to adjust jet adjustment screw below carb' Car seems to run a little better now, after approximately three complete turns of nut in 'clockwise' direction, which I believe lowered the new fixed jet, Idle is now around 1,250 rpm (hot). 1st May 1991: Went to TSSC Surrey Area Meet in 1974 Triumph 2000 Mk.2 Saloon GAV 503N - for the last time! Collected very nice pair of 'Snap-On' ratchets for silly price of £46/pair from a fellow at the pub. 2nd May 1991: Tried to sort out Alan Burrows' tax problems, but already gone to commissioners! And, he didn't turn up! I did what I could, not much at this stage, spoke to Alan this PM, regarding that problem and about KGF - he said ready middle of next week at the latest! 3rd May 1...
