Alternator Swap - Bosch 13107 Clone

The alternator I had in my car appears to be a slightly upgraded unit than from the factory. Suspect a previous owner installed a slightly larger Lucas. I did have a 16ACR on hand to compare and the only difference was a thicker centre core (more windings apparently and a few more amps I suspect). After tonnes of research on options, techniques and prices I ended up with a Bosch 13107 Clone from Dixie Electric (thru 77 AutoParts). CDN$226 all-in and it turns out to be a 65 amp unit. They ...
