I patched the fuel tank on my Spit with Belzona (an "industrilal strength" version of JB Weld, if you will). It does an excellent job.

I'll check it out...thanks! The JB weld fix is going on 2 week, it may become permanent.

Just note that Belzona products are not normally available to the public--you may need to track down a local representative.Full disclosure: I am one such representative myself.
